As a dog owner I think it should be a law that a dog must be registered and a micro chip placed on every dog, then the owners who abandon their dogs could be identified. I would be willing to pay a fee for this. Everyone who owns a dog has to be responsible for their dog, and abandoning them should be punished by a fine and the owning of a dog forbidden to offenders. It is time to get up to date with how these things are handled in the rest of the civilized world. Most of these dogs are abandoned hunting dogs, while we are at it let's BAN hunting as it creates unbalance in the ecology when birds are killed the insects take over, HUNTING is an ego thing, if a man needs to kill small animals to boost his self esteem and ego he needs psychological help. STOP DESTROYING THE ENVIRONMENT!
